Cocaine cop back before the courts over lying

DISGRACED Tweed/Byron police officer Shane Diehm was back before the courts this week.

The former senior detective is charged with four counts of lying to the NSW Police Integrity Commission.

The case was mentioned briefly in Sydney's Downing Local Court on Tuesday and was relisted for October 29.

Another north coast police officer, Sergeant Roderick Morris, has also been charged with lying to the police watchdog.

He is due back in court on November 19.
