Cleveland Cavaliers fans mob LeBron James after winning NBA championship

BASKETBALL: LeBron James has been given a hero's welcome outside his home in Bath Township, Ohio, the day after helping the Cleveland Cavaliers to their first NBA championship.

After a stop-off to celebrate in Las Vegas, James and his teammates touched down in Cleveland, where they were welcomed by fans.

Thousands more were camped outside James' home to thank the finals MVP for delivering a first major sporting title for the city of Cleveland in 52 years.

James was the star of the finals as the Cavs came back from 3-1 down to defeat the Warriors 4-3.
