Choices to make over Test line-up says Darren Lehmann

AUSTRALIA coach Darren Lehmann admitted he faced some tough decisions in the make-up of his team to play England in the third Ashes Test starting in Edgbaston tomorrow night.

Question marks are still hovering over opening batsman Chris Rogers (pictured), after he had to be assisted from the field in the second Test at Lord's.

Shaun Marsh will be called in as Rogers' replacement if he doesn't recover in time.

Marsh made his second hundred of the tour in the practice match against Derbyshire last week.

Lehmann also faces an agonising call over whether to retain Peter Nevill over incumbent wicketkeeper Brad Haddin.

Haddin missed the second Test due to personal reasons, while Nevill enjoyed a bright Test debut.

"If we have to make a tough call then that's what we'll do," Lehmann said.

Rain has been falling in Birmingham which could make life interesting for the team that bats first.
