Carnival Luncheon guests confirmed

STARS of the racing world will be gracing the 2011 Westlawn Finance Barrier Draw Luncheon on Monday, July 11 to share their stories and experience within the industry.

CEO of the Clarence River Jockey Club, Bradley de Martino Rosaroll has locked Glenn Munsie, NSW Media Manager for TAB SportsBet since 1999, and Bart Sinclair, the turf editor of The Courier-Mail and Sunday Mail, down to speak at the function, and is looking forward to the point of view the duo will bring to the carnival.

“Glenn Munsie has a wealth of experience on the betting side of the racing industry, and he always has a story.

“He has seen some huge sums of money be dropped on punts and taken bets from a range of really interesting people, and have countless stories to tell.”

Radio 2KY and 2UE in Sydney along with 327 Sport in Melbourne regularly seek Glenn’s expertise and knowledge on sport of all kind. If there is a result to be had, then SportsBet will frame a market to satisfy the thirst of those punters who wish to test their luck.

Now firmly entrenched as the “voice of SportsBet”, Glenn enjoys the cut and thrust of taking on the Australian punter and can speak with authority on any sport in the country.

Bart Sinclair has held the post of turf editor with the Courier Mail for the last 40 years, and remembers just about everything he has reported on over the years.

“Bart simply has an amazing wealth of knowledge of the whole racing industry, and as a large quantity of horses that race during the Carnival come down from Queensland, he should know a thing or two about what the locals are up against,” Brad said.

The Westlawn Finance Barrier Draw Luncheon will be held at the Grafton Racecourse on Monday, July 11. Contact the Jockey Club on 66422566.
