Car and truck collision on Pacific Hwy kills woman

THE Pacific Hwy claimed another life in Northern NSW on Monday morning.

A 54-year-old woman was driving past the Avonlea intersection at Belmont North when her car and a truck collided.

She died at the scene.

The uninjured truck driver was taken to Newcastle hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
