Dustyesky to bring the Byronsky beat to Bello Music Festival

DUSTYESKY, the North Coast's favourite Russian men's choir, who are off to perform at the Bello Winter Music Festival in Bellingen early next month, packed them in on Saturday night for one of their rare performances at the Courthouse Hotel Mullumbimby.

Choir master and co-founder Andrew Swain (aka Andre Svensky) led the 26-strong choir through a glorious repertoire of songs, all sung in Russian, to a rapturous response as the group raised money to get to Bellingen.

The Mullumbimby-based psychedelic Magic Bus will also make the trip to the festival.

The Magic Bus leaves Mullumbimby at 9am on Friday, July 3 and returns from Bellingen on Monday, July 6.
