Byron Lions look to Nepal

MEMBERS of the Lions Club of Byron Bay will be turning their minds towards ways to help people in Nepal whis week with a special presentation from the Nepalese Lions Division.

Byron Lions club treasurer Billie Buckley said the representative of the Nepalese Lions Division would speak to club members about issues affecting communities in the small Himalayan nation between China and India and ways people can help.

The talk will be held at the Byron Services Club, Jonson Street, 6.30pm, this Thursday, August 8. Anyone interested in going should call Billie on 0405 309 818.
