Buy a badge and keep a promise

IT’S just a small badge.

But it keeps alive a promise made in the trenches by World War I Diggers to help out the families of their mates who didn’t come home.

Tomorrow, September 2, is Legacy Badge Day – the major annual fundraiser for Legacy which helps families of fallen service people.

Byron Bay High School students will be on the streets in the Byron Bay CBD and industrial area selling badges to raise money for the uniquely-Australian volunteer organisation.
