Burger just too big for record

A HERVEY Bay youth's dream of breaking the record for eating Australia's biggest burger was denied last night.

"Brock" told the Chronicle he was looking to chomp his way into the record books with an "eight-stack" burger, after warming up with a "six-stack" last week.

Unfortunately, the attempt fell through when Hungry Jack's could not produce the giant burger required.

Although the local Hungry Jack's manager offered no comment on the dashing of Brock's hopes and dreams, it is believed the proposed burger was simply too big for existing restaurant regulations.
