Building Projects Industry Guide goes online

THE $2.8 billion of slated government construction projects planned for Queensland have found a new home online.

The Building Projects Industry Guide is a database that allows the industry to search for major state-funded building projects from $100 million down to $500,000.

The file can be searched by region, type of project, and which department is building it.

Public Works Minister Tim Mander said the site would allow contractors, suppliers and consultants keep an eye on new projects being built by the state.

"We want to spread the work across small, medium and large operators to give the whole industry an opportunity to work with us," Mr Mander said.

The Industry Guide and the Online Project Search tool are available on the department's website at
