Bubba Watson wins his second green jacket

BUBBA Watson is Masters champion for the second time.

The American played some extraordinary shots - and rode a hot putter - to post a world-class three-under-par 69 to win by three shots as his rivals came and went around him.

Watson, the 2012 champion, became the first since Arnold Palmer to win two green jackets in his sixth attempt, tapping in a par on the last for a three-shot victory at eight under.

Two Masters debutants were joint runners-up, but neither Jonas Blixt nor Jordan Spieth could apply the blowtorch in the closing holes as they finished five under.

"I don't remember the closing holes, I just remember hanging on," said Watson, who won his first title in a two-hole playoff.
