Boy, 12, faces court over rape of 6-year-old girl

A 12-year-old boy accused of raping a 6-year-old girl has appeared in a New South Wales Children's Court.

Fairfax media reports the boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with two counts of aggravated indecency in company and one count of rape.

The boy's co-accused, also 12, faced court last month and entered a plea of not guilty.

It's alleged the offences took place at a primary school on Sydney's northern beaches.
