Boomers bundled out as Warriors continue fine form

BASKETBALL: Australian stars Dante Exum and Joe Ingles did their best but it wasn't enough to save the Utah Jazz from going out of the NBA semi-finals to the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors completed their second-straight sweep of the finals, winning 121-95 for a 4-0 Western Conference semi-finals success.

Exum finished with a post-season career-high 15 points, to go with three rebounds and two assists, while Boomers teammate Ingles was also in fine form for the Jazz, posting seven points, four rebounds, three assists and four steals in 25 minutes of action.

For the defending Western Conference champion Warriors, Stephen Curry scored 30 points, while Klay Thompson finished with 21, Kevin Durant scored 18 and Draymond Green posted his third career post-season triple-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists.

Gordon Hayward led the Jazz with 25 points and Shelvin Mack chipped in 18.

The Warriors now await the winner of the Rockets-Spurs series that is tied at 2-2.
