Bikie clubhouses shut down as part of organised crime blitz

GANG squad detectives have shut down three bikie clubhouses as the battle to control organised crime in Sydney's suburbs continues.

Members were locked out at the Comanchero clubhouse at Turrella and the Hells Angels clubs at Haymarket and Annandale following raids by Strike Force Raptor this week.

Police allege illegal alcohol was being sold at all three clubs.

Documents and outlaw motorcycle gang paraphernalia were also seized.

The clubs will be issued with breaches under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act.

Gangs squad commander, Detective Superintendent Arthur Katsogiannis, warned bikies to expect more of the same.

"As long as some people within these gangs want to carry out criminal acts or allow their violent conflicts to be aired in public, we will be there to disrupt their day-to-day activities," Det Supt Katsogiannis said.
