THE creators of the award-winning game Bastion have revealed their new game, Transistor, at PAX East in Boston over the weekend.

The reveal comes despite creative director Greg Kasavin having previously stated that no future games were going to come out of the six-person studio,

Alongside the reveal trailer and PAX East booth, John "TotalBiscuit" Bain joined Kasavin for a director's commentary playthough of the game's initial minutes.

The PAX East footage shows a game very similar in art style to Bastion with the frenetic real-time combat supplemented by a new attack-planning tool known as Turn().

The narration for the game sounds as if it comes from Bastion voice-over artist Logan Cunningham and the intro-song also sounds as though it were sung by Bastion's Ashley Barrett, yet both remain unconfirmed.

Supergiant's first game, Bastion, won more than 100 awards and sold in excess of half a million copies in the second half of 2011 alone.

Bastion's success came despite being created by a tiny team of seven led out of the lead designer's apartment and with a shoestring budget.
