Axe used to threaten homeowners during home invasions

TWO teenagers and a man have been arrested over a spate of home invasions on the NSW Mid North Coast.

Strike Force Nyhan was established earlier this month after guns and an axe were used to threaten homeowners in three break-ins at Kempsey.

In one case, shots were allegedly fired but no-one was injured.

A 20-year-old man and two teens, aged 14 and 15, have since been arrested.

The man and 15-year-old were both refused bail.

The 14-year-old was issued a court notice for trespassing.

Investigations are continuing.
