Testing surf a major hurdle

Byron Bay Boardriders performed strongly in the Gold Coast City Council Cleanwater teams challenge on the weekend finishing a creditable 4th. Byron's team of Craig Warton, Yerrin Brown, Matt Crisp, Jono Riordan, Garrett Parkes and Kurt King dominated in the early rounds with some inspirational surfing from Craig Warton and Yerrin Brown who propelled the team way out in front for both the heat and semi finals.

But in the end the testing conditions slowed us down with some heavy paddle outs and needing every second of the allotted 1 hour heat BBB finished third overall.
