Food, food glorious food! - A Taste of Byron festival is underway.
Following seven successful years the festival has grown in size as has its reputation and is now one of the most popular events in the Northern Rivers region.
A number of venues have been playing host, since Monday, to a variety of events catering for all budgets, with the culmination of the festival on Sunday.
With a four days to go food lovers still have plenty of time to indulge their taste buds with in the endless variety of taste sensations.
Tomorrow from midday, 12 reputable restaurants will feature in Eastern Tables.
Diners will be offered twocourse lunches or two-course dinners at affordable discounted rates at participating restaurants including Harvest at Newrybar, Utopia and Fresca at Bangalow, Taps Restuarant and Bar at Ballina, Succulent Cafe at Byron, Mi Thai at Lennox Head, Basilico Cafe Restuarant and Gallery in Lismore, Nosh Restaurant in Murwillumbah, Juddy's Steak Seafood and Piano Bar at Kingscliff and Sandbar and Grill at Casuarina. Enjoy a two-course lunch for $20 or a two-course dinner for $30.
A Taste Dish with acclaimed chef Luke Southwood is an event not to be missed.

Snap Cafe in the Byron Arcade is offering a special Taste of Byron breakfast up until Sunday.
But make sure you leave room for the grand finale of the week on Sunday at Denning Park at Byron Bay's Main Beach from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
