Ryan to train with Spanish clubSpanish club

South Golden Beach soccer goalkeeper, Ryan Gray, 17, jets out of Australia on Monday to train with one of the world's greatest football clubs - Barcelona.

He will be part of the NSW under 18 team heading off on a trip of a lifetime.

To help him get there, the NSW Government has contributed $1000 towards his travel expenses.

In 2002, Ryan was accepted into the talented player program at Southern Cross University and has been selected in many representative sides.

Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation, Sandri Nori, said Ryan would receive elite coaching at Barcelona and would be able to pass on what he had learned to future generations of soccer players in the regiob.
