New Year?s Eve website launched

Byron Bay New Year's Eve event organisers have launched an information website.

The website, developed by Byron allows users to access information relating to road closures, parking restrictions, and various impor- tant safety initiatives.

Event manager, Jacqueline MacRae, said the website was not a promotional tool rather a platform to disseminate event specific information giving residents and visitors the opportunity to plan ahead.

Website users are asked to take particular note of the requirement for Special Event Parking Permits and how to go about acquiring them. The Byron Shire News will publish further updates as the event approaches.
