New paint job for old Kombi

There were Vee Dubs of all shapes and sizes at the first annual VW Dubfest at Belongil Fields at Byron Bay over the weekend.

The festival included a VW cruise on Saturday and an open day on Sunday.

Pictured giving this 1974 Kombi a new paint job are Monisha Diestrich-Earley, 10, Jack Felton, 11 and Kayne Healey, 16, all of Byron Bay.

The Kombi belongs to Brian Earley of Byron Bay who plans to restore the vehicle.
