Highway model on show

After several years of often acrimonious debate, a scale model of the planned Pacific High- way upgrade at Brunswick Heads has gone on exhibition. The model (pictured above) can be inspected in the foyer of Byron Council's Mullum- bimby offices. NSW Parliamentary Secretary for Roads, Tony Stewart, said the model included the new dual carriageway and the parallel service road which would provide a local connec- tion for drivers between Brunswick Heads, Ocean Shores, Billinudgel and Yelgun. The model will be on display at the council's offices until February.
