Brunswick driver reviver to move

The Brunswick Heads Driver Reviver rest stop is to move from its bridge location to Pilgrim Park at the southern end of the town.

The relocation comes ahead of the forthcoming highway reconstruction.

John Gabriel, president of the BrunswickMullumbimby Lions Club which co-ordinates the program with the RTA, said the new location would be in operation for the Easter holidays this year.

"When the Yelgun rest stop is built, the service will be moved to a permanent place there," Mr Gabriel said.

Around 100 volunteers provide the service which is now operating at the weekends until the end of the school holidays.
