Annual CBD clean-up on again

Byron United’s Beautiful Byron annual CBD clean-up is on again.

The committee is asking all businesses to participate in the clean-up on Friday, March 5, from 8am to 9am.

Byron United executive officer Diana Ricketts said the clean-up was a chance for business owners to clean their businesses and the streets before Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday, March 7.

“Please help clean up our town and encourage others to do the same,” she said.

“Pick up litter, get out the brooms, sweep up cigarette butts, pull out weeds, plant your garden beds and remove stickers off rubbish bins and signs.

“Feel free to hose or dust your building.

“This is the third clean-up we have held and we want people to take pride in their town.”

Volunteers are needed for the clean-up, so phone 66808853 or email info@byronunited.org.au
