Alumina works get back to normal after cyclone

ALUMINA operations weren't hampered by Cyclone Marcia, with Queensland Alumina Ltd and Yarwun's site back on track.

Both sites followed established cyclone procedures during the passing of Tropical Cyclone Marcia.

A spokesperson said the cyclone had been closely monitored.

"We are in the process of resuming normal operations."
