FOUR letters is all it took to sum up Labor MP Anthony Albanese's thoughts about the retirement of Sydney Airport Corporation Chairman Max Moore-Wilton.

The Federal MP sent out a formal media release on the subject.

In 2013, Mr Albanese used parliamentary privilege to accuse Mr Moore-Wilton of a conflict of interest in his role as the chairman of Sydney Airports.

Mr Moore-Wilton threatened to sue Mr Albanese if he repeated that statement outside of Parliament.

He also called Albanese a "grub" and "factional hack".

A spokesman for Mr Albanese confirmed the media release is "genuine" and "exactly what he thinks" about Moore-Wilton's retirement.
