Agriculture ministers in Rockhampton in post-Marcia debrief


FEDERAL Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce is In Rockhampton today to look at Primary Producer concerns in Capricorn Coast region post Cyclone Marcia.

Federal MP Michelle Landry will meet with Qld Agriculture Minister Bill Byrne in a by-partisan effort to work as a team to help the Rockhampton region.

"We are putting aside any political 'bull' to get on to work towards getting things done," Ms Landry said in a release.

"We will be talking with various industries near Yeppoon today including pineapples, horticulture, nut, timber and tropical fruit sectors.

"I thank Bill Byrne for working with us."
