Aaliyah's X-Factor audition sparkes controversy

MACKAY girl Aaliyah Warren's audition on TV show The X-Factor has sparked reported "controversy" with the judges.

Her audition performance has been advertised on television screens across the country in the lead up to the show on Sunday night.

The judges were divided on whether to let the Mackay teenager through to the next stage, which the television network has used in an advertisement for the talent show.

Mother Ariana Warren said the family was extremely excited to see Aaliyah in the ads on TV.

Tune into Channel 7's The X-Factor Sunday night from 6.30pm to see if Mackay's own talented singer made it through.
