A MOTHER was fined today for possessing a baby bottle bong.

Angela Mary Courtney, 40, pleaded guilty to three charges in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court this morning.

Police prosecutor Senior Constable Jeanette Grigoris told the court Courtney was found to be in possession of uncapped needles and syringes in the laundry of her Torquay home when police executed a search warrant on January 12.

Police then found a bong made out of a baby bottle as well, Snr Const Grigoris said.

Courtney has a lengthy criminal history, the court heard.

She was fined $750, with a warning from Magistrate Graeme Tatnell that “enough’s enough”.
