A fair amount of fun at Byron Bay Public School
A REAL old-school funfair will be held tomorrow at Byron Bay Public School to raise funds for new equipment.
"We will have plenty of funfair stuff that kids and adults alike love, including lucky dips, fairly floss, a raffle, a cake stall and barbecue," principal Geoff Spargo said.
"Added to these favourites are some fabulous updates like laser skirmish, football shootout and super soaker. And, for the parents, we have a range of international food and a coffee cart.
"There will be loads of rides for all ages − a super slide, a Miami Trip, cup and saucer, Lion Safari big bouncer, Sesame swings and a toddler bouncing castle, to name a few. There will also be Old MacDonald's Farm."
The funfair will run from 12-6pm, with school children only from 12-3pm. Gates open to the public at 3pm.
Unlimited ride tickets can be pre-purchased for $25 per person or on the day for $30. Single rides are $5. Tickets available from the school.
