Socceroos midfielder signs two-year deal with the Roar

SOCCEROOS midfielder Matt McKay has come home, signing a two-year deal with the Brisbane Roar.

McKay, 30, played 131 games in six seasons with the Roar, and led the side to the 2010/11 A-League title before heading overseas to join Glasgow Rangers in 2011.

After playing just three games for the former Scottish Premier League side, he moved to South Korean club Busan Icons and then Chinese Super League outfit Changchun Yatai.

McKay had been on the look-out for a new club since he was released by Changchun Yatai by mutual consent last month
