CAMBODIAN Prime Minister Hun Sen was expected to be returned by voters in the country's election, after polls opened on Sunday.

BBC reported Mr Sen, head of the Cambodia People's Party, was up against Sam Rainsy who recently returned from self-imposed exile.

While Mr Rainsy can not enter the election, his former party, the main opposition to the CPP, gains strength from his return.
