FORMER Australian road race champion Travis Meyer has joined rookie Australian outfit Drapac Professional Cycling for next month's Tour Down Under in South Australia.

Meyer formerly rode for fellow Aussie team Orica-GreenEDGE. He is one of four riders who have transferred from UCI Pro Tour teams for 2014, including Jonathan Cantwell from Saxo-Tinkoff and William Clarke from Argo-Shimano.

Thomas Palmer, Darren Lapthorne and Bernard and Wesley Sulzberger complete the line-up.
