Marquez steals German Grand Prix while favourites out

WITH defending champion Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha), and 2013 series leader Dani Pedrosa (Honda), sidelined thanks to broken collarbones, young gun Marc Marquez (Honda) claimed the German Grand Prix.

The win also gives Marquez the lead over Pedrosa.

Despite riding with injuries to his arms, hands and left leg after crashing in practice, Cal Crutchlow (Yamaha), finished second, while Valentino Rossi (Yamaha), was third.
