Karrie Webb comes from behind to win European Masters

LEADING Australian player Karrie Webb has warmed up for Thursday's women's British Open at St Andrews in style with a come-from-behind success at the European Masters.

Webb, 38, fired a final-round 65 at the Buckinghamshire Golf Club in England to overhaul a three-stroke deficit and win by one shot from South African Ashleigh Simon.

Webb finished on 16-under par to win her third tournament of the season.
