Aussie men's water polo team into quarter-finals in Spain

AUSTRALIA'S men's team, the Sharks, have been rewarded for an 8-4 win over Germany with a quarter-final clash against world and Olympic champion Croatia in the World Championships in Barcelona tonight.

Skipper Rhys Howden scored twice against the Germans, as did John Cotterill and Aaron Younger, while goalkeeper Joel Dennerley starred with 11 saves from 15 shots.

Croatia beat New Zealand 21-4 to reach the quarters.
