$2m Lotto winner is Disneyland-bound

IT STANDS to reason that a Gold Lotto winner would want to celebrate with a trip to "the happiest place on earth".

And after becoming an instant multi-millionaire in Saturday's $30 Million Mid-Year Megadraw, an Ipswich mum is preparing for the trip of a lifetime.

The woman, who purchased her winning ticket at News Extra Yamanto, said she would take her family to Disneyland.

"I've always said if I won the Lotto, that's what I'd do," said the excited winner who did not want her name revealed. As one of 12 Division 1 winners, she is $2.5 million richer.

When informed by Golden Casket of her win, the woman screamed: "What, are you kidding me? You're giving me a heart attack."

The woman bought the 24-game QuickPick at the News Extra store in Yamanto Shopping Village.

One in every three adults in Queensland had an entry in the $30 million draw.
