The 22-year-old was tragically killed in Peru on Tuesday, June 7.

Over the weekend friends started leaving tributes to Nick over social media remembering him as someone who had an "incredible ability to make people smile".

"You weren't one in a thousand, or one in a million, you truly were one of a kind," a friend wrote.

"You had the most unique view of the world, you saw adventure and happiness in the darkest of situations. Your laugh will echo in my mind for as long as I have left on this earth."
