17 Nomad bikies arrested in raid on clubhouse

SYDNEY police have arrested 17 Nomad bikie gang members and shut down their western suburbs clubhouse following a raid.

Officers searched the Wetherill Park clubhouse as part of an ongoing investigation into bikie crime links, arresting 13 members under anti-consorting laws.

The men were taken to various police stations and charged with habitually consorting with convicted offenders.

All were granted bail to appear in court next month.

Four other men with links to the gang were arrested for offences ranging from traffic matters to drug and weapon possession.
