Latin Fiesta hots up in Byron Bay

AN APPEARANCE by Spanish dancers Albir and Sara will be among the highlights of this weekend's seventh annual Byron Latin Fiesta.

The pair are specialists in Kizomba, a sexy partner dance with African and Portuguese influences, and they will be teaching the dance as well as performing it.

Albir and Sara will be joined by a whole host of local instructors who'll be sharing their love of Latin dance in more than 40 workshops across the weekend.

Students will be able to put it all into practice at one of four parties at the Byron Bay Brewery and Great Northern Hotel, with live music from Chukale and Latin DJs.
