CRUSTY Demons figurehead and freestyle moto-x pioneer Seth Enslow is swapping his bike for a microphone on his new world tour.
The Australian leg of his Spoken Word Tour starts on October 18 and features footage of the daredevil's spectacular jumps.
The extreme sportsman, who also works as a tattoo artist, will take audience members step-by-step through his world-record attempts.
Brisbane band The Royal Artillery will also perform.
Enslow recently took some time to answer questions about his upcoming tour:
Q: You've got strong ties to Australia, not only from your Crusty Demons tours over the years but also your world record jump at Sydney Harbour in 2010, why do you keep coming back here?
A: I love Australia. It's been my second home for over a decade. I have met so many great people Down Under, it's a great place. I also accomplished my lifetime goal of jumping over 300 feet on my dirt bike in Australia.
Q: Can you give an example of the types of stories you'll be telling on your Spoken Word tour?
A: The Spoken Word Tour is an idea that my friend Timmy Rickard and myself came up with. The stories will be the behind the scenes truth about what happened on the day of some of my biggest jumps and crashes. I am also going to play some acoustic guitar and sing a few songs. My friend Zed will also be playing with his band Royal Artillery. It's going to be something new and a fun time for sure.
Q: Why did you choose Brisbane band The Royal Artillery to tour with you?
A: I met Zed a few years back when his band played at a shop signing on the Goldie. The following year we joined forces again in Coffs Harbour. So Zed and Royal Artillery have been a part of this since the idea was created. Zed and Timmy had already worked together so the team was in place. I am bringing good old Bubba from Crusty Demons along as well. I love Queensland weather and lifestyle. It's similar to what I have were I live in Southern California. Minus we don't get the humidity.
Q: Do you have any more world record attempts planned?
A: I don't have any more world records planned now. I would like to break my own Harley Davidson Record when the time, place and money are right. I would like to fly over 200 feet on the big girl. Until then I am going to do more music and tattoo more people.
Q: Even though it's a slightly different sport to FMX, were you happy to see BMX in the Olympics for the first time this year?
A: I think it's real good that a two-wheeled sport was added to the world Olympics, that's perfect. 2 Wheels for Life.
