Bomb scare at Sydney Airport

A SYDNEY Airport carpark was locked down for three hours on Wednesday while police responded to a bomb scare.

About 11.20am a suspicious package was found in a hire car parked in front of the domestic terminal.

The carpark was sealed off until officers from the bomb squad gave the all clear just before 3pm.

The package was seized for forensic testing.

Investigations are continuing.
