THE Byron School of Art has been up and running in Mullumbimby for 12 months and will be opening a new campus in September in Bangalow.

The school is also launching a new one-year Visual Arts Foundation course and Visual Portfolio course in 2015 and will be holding an information session from 4-6pm on Thursday, August 28, at the new campus, located in the new arts precinct being developed on the site of the old hardware shop in Station St, Bangalow.

"It will be a chance to meet current students and teachers with the school," said school director Michael Cusack.

Byron School of Art will also stage a one-day pop-up shop offering works from local art group The Industrialists from 9.30am-2pm on Saturday, August 30, at the Mullumbimby campus at 112 Dalley St.
